our story
We're Kerima, Leigh, Ann, and Derek. We met through a shared passion for pottery and stuck together even though none of us work out of the same studio. We're spread across Northern Virginia, and now New York too, each with our own space, our own influences, and our own way of approaching clay: functional and geometric, marbled and experimental, carved and altered, classic and reinvented.
What ties it together isn't a shared kiln. It's four different practices, one shared name, and a group chat that's 90% photos of things fresh out of the kiln. This site is just one more place to find us, alongside every market table we share.

Kerima's Work:
LLeigh's work takes its cues from nature, geology, and the science of ceramics itself. She learned to throw as a child from her mom, and still remembers opening the kiln with the same excitement as waiting for Christmas morning to arrive.
